Why we offer this to you ...
We knew Xavier's Le Petit Xavier Blanc for a while and really like it. When speaking to him and his team we asked if they also had some white with a fuller body we got to know about the new 100% project. We instantly fell in love with 100% Blanc - especially when we got to know the price.
What does it taste like ...
Beautiful pale yellow color with bright reflections.
The nose the wine reveals notes of fruit: apricots, yellow stone fruits but also white flowers and subtle spicy notes.
We find it particularly amazing how Xavier found the perfect balance between roundness and freshness. Due to his partial fermentation in barrique this wine also provides you a nice long finish.
A really nice experience with the danger of continuing to open bottles once the previous is finished.
Have it with grilled chicken marinated in lemon & thyme, goat cheese or spicy gambas a la plancha
What is it made of ...
Grape varieties:Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Bourboulenc, Clairette & Ugni Blanc
All grapes are picked by hand.
40% of the wine were vinified and aged in oak barrels with lees stirring for nearly ten months, and 60% vinified and aged in tanks.
