Fresh and harmonic, with a nice aroma of cherries. The Merlot makes this Chianti slightly smoother than a regular Chianti Classico which makes it very easy to drink.
Lively, ruby color, intense perfumes, harmonious taste and soft and velvet tannins.
What is it made of ...
85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot
Drink now through 2015
The grapes are hand-picked in small boxes then immediately transported to the cellar where they undergo a strict selection, both of the bunches and of the single grapes, on two conveyors.
Maceration time of about 20-25 days.
Aged in oak for about 5 months, 2500-liters barrels for the Sangiovese and barriques for the Merlot
